ORVILLE H. MOORE

Orville Harwood ``Kittie'' Moore, 77, of 317 22nd St., died Saturday Nov. 15, 1997, in her residence.

She was a native of Richmond, an active member of Galilee Episcopal Church, recent member and formerly on the board of the Virginia Beach General Hospital Auxiliary. She was the loving wife of the late Clarence Warren Moore.

Kittie is survived by two nieces, Linda Morris Hofma of Richmond and Ann Carter Morris MacPherson of Forest, Va.; a nephew, William Braxton Morris of Richmond; three great-nieces, Lisa Corbin MacPherson, Faith Ann Hofma, Emily Lynn Hofma; and two great-nephews, Adam Christian MacPherson and Eric Kendall MacPherson.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Galilee Episcopal Church, 40th Street and Pacific Avenue, by the Rev. Calvin G. Gardner and the Rev. John H. Jordan. An entombment service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the family mausoleum in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 945, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451, or to the American Heart Association, Tidewater Council, 360 Southport Circle, suite 104, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. After the memorial service today, everyone is invited to join the family at a reception in Tucker Hall in the church. Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, is handling arrangements.
