Nellie Young Boddie of the 500 block of River Creek Road died Nov. 17, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Surry County, Va., she was the widow of Biscoe Boddie. She was a retired domestic and a member of Gideon's Riverside Fellowship, the Council of Deaconess, the Pastor's Aid Club, the Annie B. Mouring Floral Club and the Lossie Anderson Adult Bible Class. She was the daughter of the late Ann Thompson Young and James H. Young.
Survivors include three brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Gideon's Riverside Fellowship by Milton, the Disciple, Senior Pastor. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
