MARSEL D. COOPER

Marsel D. ``Tweet'' Cooper, 42, of the 2700 block of Ash St. died Nov. 16, 1997, in her home.

Born in Suffolk, she was a teacher's assistant employed by the Norfolk Public School System for six years. She was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville.

Survivors include two daughters, Takiya L. Williams of Montgomery, Ala., and Sonya D. Coley of Portsmouth; a son, Twayne A. Smith of Portsmouth; mother, Bernice S. Moore of Portsmouth; sister, Sandra D. Moore of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; five aunts; six uncles; a host of cousins, in-laws and friends, including a special friend, Regina King of Portsmouth. She was predeceased by her father, Dennis L. Moore.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New First Baptist Church Taylorsville, Portsmouth, by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.
