Mrs. Ethel Everton East of the 1900 block of LeGare Court and formerly of Norfolk, died Nov. 19, 1997, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Born in Coinjock, N.C. on Dec. 14, 1900, she was the daughter of the late John Breckenridge and Amy Francis Everton and was the widow of John W. East. She was a loyal member of St. James Church, Wilmington.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Betty Boushee and husband, Frank, of Wilmington.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Revs. Beverly Danridge Tucker and Julia Moore Tucker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Church, 25 S. Third St., Wilmington, N.C. 28401. Andrews Mortuary, Market Street, is in charge of arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
