MILTON S. FORREST JR.

Milton Stephenson Forrest Jr., 61, owner of Sonny Forrest and Associates, Ultrasonic Marine Surveyors of Virginia Beach, died Nov. 19, 1997, in a local hospital.

Mr. Forrest was a native of Portsmouth. He was a member of Great Neck Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. He was the son of the late Milton S. Forrest Sr. and Novella Trench Forrest. Mr. Forrest was a former Scoutmaster and former coach for the Great Neck Athletic Association.

Survivors include his wife, Celeste A. Forrest; a daughter, Stephanie F. Liverman and her husband, Gary of New Bern, N.C.; a son, Joshua S. Forrest of Virginia Beach; two stepdaughters, Robin Miller and her husband, Henry of Virginia Beach, Laurie Cantin and her husband, Marshall of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister, Nancy Forrest and a nephew, Lee Askeland, both of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Courtney, Samantha, Shelby, Catherine and Tyler.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Great Neck Baptist Church by the Rev. Bill Kincaid. A private burial will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Great Neck Baptist Church or Hospice Volunteers. H.D.
