Mary Anderson, 75, of the 1200 block of Alcindor Road died Nov. 16, 1997, in Maryview Medical Center.
Born and raised in Virginia, she was the widow of John Anderson. Mrs. Anderson made her home in Flushing, N.Y., and retired from Fuller Tools in New York.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Hill of Dallas, Texas, and his wife, Joy Hill; a brother, Lawrence Hill and his wife, Edith of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, including her cousin, Vivian Jackson of Portsmouth, and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Lensey Sheppard.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home by the Revs. George E. Henry and Robert Whitehead. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
