WILLIAM B. WOODWARD

William Bryce Woodward, 80, of the 3000 block of Whip Poor Will Point, died Nov. 19, 1997, in his residence.

Mr. Woodward was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He also retired from government service in 1968. He was a member of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Woodward; two sons, John W. Woodward and his wife, Francine, of Virginia Beach, and William B. Woodward Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Santa Ana, Calif.; a sister, Jeanette Houk of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren, Brant Woodward of Raleigh, N.C., Steven Woodward of Alexandria, Va., Natalie Woodward of Santa Ana, and Kelly Honeck of San Diego, Calif.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday in Lynnhaven United Methodist Church. A church service will follow at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Thomas Maddry. Entombment will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
