Lorraine L. Newby, 73, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, of lung cancer.
Lorraine was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Milwaukee, Wis., and was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mueller) Maxfield.
She is survived by two brothers, LeRoy and Eugene Maxfield, and their sister, Carol Alderman. Lorraine is also survived by her husband of 49 years, Burton C. Newby; two sons, David and Ronald, and several grandchildren. Lorraine was an avid reader and player of crossword puzzles. She touched the lives of many with her inner strength and determination, and will be greatly missed by all. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
