Police are asking for help locating a man suspected of robbing another man at an automatic teller machine Nov. 15.

The robbery occurred about 10:30 p.m. at the Crestar bank in the 100 block of W. Little Creek Road.

Police said the suspect is described as a 27-year-old black male, 6-foot-3 and 150 pounds. He has short hair, a mustache and was wearing a blue sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the crime or the suspect is asked to call 664-4040.

As the holidays approach, police are asking that anyone using a money machine take these precautions:

Don't use money machines in dark locations or if strange people are lurking around.

Don't use a money machine when you are alone or late at night.

The Police Department has recently published a crime prevention/safety tip brochure available at the first and second patrol divisions. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
