EDWARD B. MCENTIRE

Edward Bookman McEntire, 92, formerly of Virginia Beach and Portsmouth, died Nov. 21, 1997.

He was born in Irmo, S.C., and was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Williams. He was a retired boilermaker and Lutheran by faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Reba Merkle of Spring Hill; two sons, the Rev. Dennis McEntire and Dr. Wesley McEntire, both of Richmond; a sister, Sally de Wolfe and a brother, Carroll McEntire, both of Columbia, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
