CHARLES P. NUNEMAKER

Charles Perrell Nunemaker, 69, died Saturday, Nov.22, 1997, at Britthaven Nursing Home in Washington, N.C.

Mr. Nunemaker owned and operated Nunemaker Fish Company at Nags Head, N.C., for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Harriett E. Nunemaker; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark D. and Terry Nunemaker of Nags Head; stepchildren, W.E. ``Billy'' Whitehurst Jr. of Wanchese, JoAnne Young of Elm City, Peggy Winstead and her husband, Thomas, of Nashville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Sally Nunemaker; and a nephew, ``Buster'' Nunemaker.

A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at The Outer Banks Worship Center, ``The Ark.'' In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation, c/o JoAnne Young, 3107 Volunteer Road, Elm City, N.C. 27822. Johnson Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, is in charge.
