Pecolia S. Evans, 64, of the 700 block of Spooner Road, died Nov. 22, 1997.
Born in North Carolina, she was retired and was a member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church, Chesapeake and its senior choir.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Evans Sr.; a daughter, Cathy Faye Kelly, and son-in-law, Alphonso Kelly Jr.; a son, Robert L. Evans Jr., and daughter-in-law, Ethel M. Evans; mother, Catherine B. Marrow; two sisters, Susie M. Skinner and Faye M. Wright; a brother, Fred Smith; five grandchildren, Derrick Evans, Chassidy Evans, Terry Carrington Jr., Terrica Carrington, Kristopher Kelly; a great-grandchild, Errick Evans. He was predeceased by his father, Mance Smith, and a brother, James Smith.
A funeral will be held at noon Wednesday in Mount Olive Baptist Church, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
