August ``Gus'' Hoeller passed away Nov. 18, 1997, at Sentara Hampton General Hospital.
He was born in Wisconsin in 1915 and spent most of his life in Milwaukee, retiring in Albuquerque and then Yorktown. He was an avid model railroader.
He is survived by his loving wife, Edna; daughter Sue and son-in-law Phil Briggs of Hampton; son, Mark A. Hoeller and his wife Kathleen of Windsor; son, Joseph Hoeller and daughter-in-law Vicki-Jean of Milwaukee; daughter, Mariana H. Neeb of Wisconsin; daughter, Katherine H. Fiddler and son-in-law, Tom of Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson. The family requests no flowers. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity, the Salvation Army or the Daily Press Christmas Fund. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
