Richard Jason Fletcher, 25, of the 700 block of Ridge Circle, went to be with the Lord Nov. 23, 1997. He died in Virginia Beach.
Born in Oberlin, Ohio, he was a student at Tidewater Community College and was employed by Applebee's in Virginia Beach. He was the son of Margaret T. Fletcher of Chesapeake and Stephen J. Fletcher of Miami, Fla.
A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in New Life Christian Fellowship by Pastor Dan Backens. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Anyone wishing to make memorial donations may contact New Life Christian Fellowship. A viewing will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel.
