Charles Edward Jarvis, 53, of the 3600 block of Kingdom Court, died Nov. 23, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mr. Jarvis, a native of Norfolk, was a surgical assistant at Bon Secour Medical Center and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish. He was a member of the National Surgical Assistants.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Ann Jarvis; a son, Philip E. Jarvis of Virginia Beach; and his parents, Carl and Florence Jarvis of Newport News.
A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by Monsignor Thomas Caroluzza. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
