NORFOLK

LIPSKIS ELECTED PRESIDENT: Barbara Lipskis of Norfolk was named the 18th president of the Norfolk City Union of The King's Daughters, founding organization of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Lipskis, who takes over the leadership from Lisa F. Chandler, was elected to the board in 1993.

PORTSMOUTH

STANLEY NAMED LOCAL SALES MANAGER AT WGNT-TV: Rick Stanley was named local sales manager at UPN-27 WGNT. He was the national sales manager at KTXA in Dallas, Texas.

VIRGINIA

ROOF SYSTEMS LISTED IN TOP 100: Richmond-based Roof Systems of VA Inc. was listed in ``The RSI Top 100'' in the October issue of RSI (Roofing/Siding/Insulation). The magazine's second annual top 100 listing ranks U.S. roofing contractors based on their 1996 annual dollar volume. Roof Systems, which ranked 60th, was the highest ranked Virginia company, with an annual volume of $7,700,000 and 110 employees.
