Charles Joseph Bovastro Sr., 50, of the 900 block of Meadowood Drive, passed Nov. 25, 1997.
Born in New Orleans, La., Mr. Bovastro retired after 30 years of service as a chief warrant officer in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Bovastro of Virginia Beach; four daughters, Dorinda Adams of Houston, Texas, Marnita Love of Bowie, Md., Cheryl Giddens of Miami, Fla., and Tywonia Millender of Taylor, Mich.; two sons, Charles Joseph Bovastro II and Reginald T. Bovastro, both of Virginia Beach; mother, Alberta Bovastro of Pascagoula, Miss.; five sisters, Ruth Burroughs, Paulette Luttrell of Ravena, Ohio, Eunice Moffett of Bossier, La., and Betty Ann Bovastro, Celeste Thompson, both of Pascagoula; three brothers, Ernest Bovastro, John Bovastro and Paul Bovastro, all of Pascagoula; four grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Chesapeake. Viewing will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, before the service. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
