Helen Bagley Schroeder, 66, of the 5200 block of Bridges Ave. died Nov. 21, 1997, in Norfolk.
Born in Portsmouth, she was a retired social worker in Wilmington, Del. Formerly active with the theater groups in Wilmington, she was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. She graduated from the University of North Carolina with a master's degree.
Survivors include a niece, Erica Ames Schroeder of Cambridge, Mass; and a nephew, Benjamin Zachary Schroeder of Raleigh, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, from 11 a.m to noon Saturday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
