Helen Mitchell Fraser, 72, formerly of Lewes, Del., died Sunday Nov. 23, 1997, of heart failure at Chesapeake General Hospital.
She was born in Thomas, W.Va., the daughter of Garnet Eye and Mildred Pase Eye. She was a homemaker and the former owner of Mitchell's Restaurant, Main Street, Lewes. Her first husband, Walter ``Pete'' Mitchell died in 1980. Her second husband, Milton Fraser, predeceased her in 1995.
She is survived by a son, William Mitchell of Milton; two daughters, Patricia Ann Guy and Louellen Lake, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Peggy Reynolds of Lewes; two brothers, Bunky Eye of Georgetown, Junior Eye of Harbeson; two grandchildren, Staci and Kristopher Lake of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck, Del., where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park Cemetery, near Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Flying Hospital, P.O. Box 41005, Norfolk, Va. 23451.
