Astronaut's October 30
lecture cancelled
Spectrum Volume 20 Issue 10 - October 30, 1997
NASA astronaut and veterinarian Richard M. Linnehan's October 30 lecture at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine's College Center has been cancelled as a result of training commitments associated with his March 1998 STS-90 NeuroLab mission.
Linnehan was scheduled to make a presentation as part of the college's New Horizons in Veterinary Medicine lecture series. Linnehan's October 30 public appearance was on the margin of the concentrated six-month training program which precedes a mission, according to NASA spokeswoman Amy Kennedy Reynolds. The college will work with NASA to reschedule the appearance following the SpaceLab mission.
