Issues after December 10, 1998 are available as .pdf files, which are viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Remember that your browser (e.g. Netscape) must also have its preferences configured to use Acrobat to view .pdf files.

Periodically, issues feature a special insert. Frequent inserts are the Virginia Tech Conductor (published 4 times a year) and "eLearning" (published 2 times a year) which are inserted with the regular paper issue.

As of Fall 2004, the Virginia Tech Conductor is no longer being inserted in the Spectrum. Digital Library and Archives maintains present Conductor archives
