Travel grants program updates guidelines, application form

Revised guidelines and a new application form for the International Conference Travel Supplemental Grants program (formerly known as Supplemental Grants) are being mailed to deans, directors, and department heads. While requirements remain unchanged regarding eligibility, documentation, signatures, and academic unit contribution, some administrative changes are being made. The following are now in effect:
1) requests for funding will be handled by administrative, rather than committee reviews; 2) the five-times-per-year review schedule has been replaced by an open submission policy allowing requests to be made anytime from six months up to 30 days prior to the departure date; 3) the summary sheet and budget forms have been combined into a single application form.
