Board of Visitors to hold quarterly meeting
Virginia Tech Spectrum, February 20, 1997The Board of Visitors of Virginia Tech will hold its quarterly meeting on campus Monday, Feb. 24, beginning at 1 p.m. in Squires Brush Mountain Room.
The board will consider, among other business, tuition and fees for the 1997-98 academic year, a resolution on the 1998-2000 capital outlay proposal, and an update on proposed athletic policies.
The committees of the board will meet at the following times and locations:
* The Academic Affairs will meet at 9 a.m. in 232 Squires.
* The Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet in executive session at 8:30 a.m. in the Boardroom of the Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center. The open session begins at 9 a.m. in conference room A.
* The Finance and Audit Committee meets in executive session at 7:30 a.m. in the Private Dining Room of the Donaldson Brown Hotel. The open session begins at 8:30 in the Executive Conference Room.
* The Student Affairs Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the Appalachian/Blue Ridge Dining Room of Donaldson Brown Hotel for a breakfast meeting with student leaders. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in conference room F.
An information meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 23, in the Executive Conference Room of the Donaldson Brown Hotel.
