BOV to meet

Spectrum Volume 20 Issue 29 - April 23, 1998

The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will meet on campus Sunday, April 26, and Monday, April 27.
On Sunday, April 26, the Executive Committee of the board will meet in open session at noon in the Executive Conference Room of the Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center (DBHCC).
At 1 p.m., the Executive Committee will join the Student Affairs Committee in conference room G to interview candidates for the undergraduate and graduate-student representatives to the board.
The full board will meet on Monday, April 27, beginning at 1 p.m. in Squires Brush Mountain Room. During the full board meeting, the visitors will consider, among other business items, 1998-99 University Budget, the 1998-99 Auxiliary Budget, and revisions to the University Policies for Student Life.
On Monday, April 27, the committees of the board will meet at the following times and locations: Academic Affairs at 8:30 a.m. in the Andrews Information Systems Building, conference room 212; Buildings and Grounds in executive session at 8:30 a.m. in the DBHCC Boardroom (the open session will begin at 9 a.m. in DBHCC room F); Finance and Audit in executive session at 7:30 a.m. in the DBHCC Private Dining Room (the open session begins at 8:30 in the Executive Conference Room); Student Affairs at 8:30 a.m. in DBHCC conference room C.
Sunday's informational session begins at 3 p.m. at the Corporate Research Center.
