A North American organization of veterinary educators working to increase the use of modern information technologies in veterinary-medical education has contracted with the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine's Informatics program to create and manage its website.
CONVINCE, or the Consortium of North American Veterinary Interactive New Concept Education, is a non-profit group allied with the American Veterinary Medical Association which encourages the creation and sharing of interactive video, CD, and hypermedia-based educational materials for professional veterinary education.
The website will contain a searchable database, on-line newsletters, directories, project profiles, links, and other information.
The college's Informatics Program provides digital information-management services for a number of other national veterinary medical organizations.
