CVC COACH OF THE WEEK
Christine Saunders, who is very popular with the students she sees daily in Schultz Dining Hall, is this week's CVC coach of the week. Since this is an open football date, Saunders, a President's Award for Excellence recipient, is coaching us for the Miami game (which Tech won 27-20 in overtime.) In charitable giving, the 7,000 Miami employees are very tough to beat. Last year they raised $810,000, which is said to result in the highest community campaign charitable per-capita giving of any private university in the country. Surely, 5,000 Virginia Tech employees can exceed CVC goal of $195,000. (B. Veltri)
