CVC COACH OF THE WEEK
This week's CVC coach is Norrine Bailey Spencer, associate dean in the Pamplin College of Business. On the football field, Tech will play the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a worthy adversary whose employees give big to their local charitable campaign. UAB runs a Benevolent Fund campaign similar to our CVC, with a committee of university employees deciding who gets the funds. Their 13,500 employees raise about a million dollars each year. Their example should provide inspiration to exceed Tech's $195,000 goal. (B. Veltri)
