28 YEARS AGO, CHAOS REIGNED IN CHICAGO
WHO ARE THE DELEGATES? VIRGINIA'S DELEGATION TO THE DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION INCLUDES BIG NAMES - SEN. CHARLES ROBB, LT. GOV. DON BEYER AND THE STATE'S DEMOCRATIC MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, ALTHOUGH REP. RICK BOUCHER OF ABINGDON IS PASSING UP THE TRIP TO REMAIN HOME IN HIS SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA DISTRICT. BUT MOST OF THE ROSTER ARE RANK-AND-FILE PARTY ACTIVISTS. THESE ARE THE DELEGATES THAT DEMOCRATS IN WESTERN VIRGINIA ARE SENDING TO THE CONVENTION, AND SOME OF THE HOPES AND CONCERNS THEY HAD ON THEIR MINDS AS THEY HEADED TO CHICAGO:
