BROWN, HENRY ELDREN, 70, OF UNION HALL, PASSED AWAY MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 1996. BORN ON AUGUST 12, 1926, HE WAS A SON OF THE LATE OSCAR E. AND BLANCHE KELLEY BROWN, AND WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS BROTHER, L. ATWOOD BROWN. HE WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF ARRINGTON-BUSSEY FUNERAL HOME, AND CURRENTLY WAS EMPLOYED BY LYNCH FUNERAL HOME AND ARRINGTON FLOWERS AND GIFTS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF SNOW CREEK MASONIC LODGE #90, DANVILLE SCOTTISH RITE, WOODMEN OF THE WORLD, GLADE HILL YOUNG FARMERS, GLADE HILL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, A COMMITTEEMAN FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY ASCS AND PAST PRESIDENT OF PENHOOK RURITAN CLUB. HENRY WAS A DEVOTED, LOVING, KIND, PATIENT AND GENTLE MAN. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS DEVOTED WIFE OF 31 YEARS, MARY JO FRALIN BROWN OF THE HOME; HIS LOVING SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, KELLEY GARRETT AND MARY VAN BROWN, AND TWIN GRANDDAUGHTERS, MORGAN AND HEATHER BROWN OF SURRY; HIS LOVING SISTER, MYRTLE ELIZABETH (``BECKY"") AND HER HUSBAND, LEWIS BROWN OF UNION HALL; A DEVOTED NEPHEW, LOWELL E. AND HIS WIFE, JEANNIE BROWN OF UNION HALL; TWO GREAT-NIECES, ANDREA BROWN OF ATLANTA, GA., AND CAROLYN BROWN OF BRISTOL, TENN., AND A SISTER-IN-LAW, JEAN BROWN OF UNION HALL. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN THE BROWN-KELLEY FAMILY CEMETERY, WITH MASONIC RITES BY SNOW CREEK LODGE #90. PREVIOUS SHE HAD LIVED AND WORKED IN FRONT ROYAL, VA. SHE WAS BORN IN ROANOKE, VA. IN 1902, WHERE SHEWAS KNOWN BY HER MAIDEN NAME OF ANNE MOSHER. ANNE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, RAYMOND COPLEY AND HER SON,BENNETT ROBERTS. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER NEPHEW, FRANK WARREN EDDY OF BOULDER, COLORADO.
