CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION: ***************************************************************** CLARIFICATION Former SEAL candidates Dustin A. Turner and Billy Joe Brown Jr., accused of murdering a 21-year-old student in Virginia Beach, have made statements to police admitting to several details surrounding the crime, including being in the car while Jennifer Lea Evans was strangled to death and to taking her body to a wooded area in Newport News. However, neither has confessed to killing Evans, as an April 13 story suggested. Correction published Thursday, April 25, 1996 on page A2 of THE VIRGINIAN-PILOT. ***************************************************************** SEAL TRAINING SEARCHES FOR LOYALTY, INTEGRITY - AND GRIT
