ARS Annual Meeting Goes East in 1962
Thomas Wheeldon, M.D., General Chairman
The East is to be honored by having the 1962 annual meeting of the American Rhododendron Society at Winterthur in Delaware, May sixth and seventh. This has been made possible by the generosity of Mr. Henry Francis DuPont and Longwood Foundation, and by the efforts of those serving on the various committees. May I urge you to make your plans to come, not only to be present at the meeting, but also to visit many of the points of horticultural interest that will be available to you at that time. A list of these will be published and all will emphasize rhododendron, including azaleas. All of the Eastern Chapters are cooperating to make this meeting one of real interest and value.
