Eugene Chapter
The Eugene Chapter Show will be held on May 3.

Grays Harbor Chapter
The Show of the Grays Harbor Chapter is scheduled for May 23-24.

Great Lakes Chapter

The fifth annual Great Lakes Chapter, A.R.S., show will be held May 23-24 at the Garden Center of Greater Cleveland, East Boulevard at Euclid Avenue. Wells Knierim is show chairman. Peter E. Girard Sr. is co-chairman. Committees are as follows:

Mrs. Woods King, program; Anthony M. Shammarello, gardens and arrangements; Frank A. Meyers, properties and printing; Dr. Louis G. Martin, classifications and awards; Mrs. Paul Bosley Sr., Mrs. Peter E. Girard Sr. and Mrs. Louis Martin, registration; Gordon Emerson, publicity.

Acting judges and awards committee comprises Mr. Girard, Mr. Shammarello, Dr. Martin, Mrs. Katherine Loesch, Orlando S. Pride, Aart Vuyk and David G. Leach. Judges scribes are Mrs. Bosley, Mrs. Girard and Mrs. Zophar Warner. Receptionist will be Mrs. Wells Knierim.

Top awards offered include First President's cup for Best in Show, Best Catawbiense, Best Hybrid Rhododendron not Shown Before, The Missouri-Kansas Award and several special awards.

New Jersey Chapter
The Show of the New Jersey Chapter will be held May 16 and 17 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Trailside Nature and Science Center Auditorium, Watchung Reservation, Union County Park System, Mountainside, New Jersey. Garden Club day will be featured Monday, May 18, with tours of the Display Garden as well as the Cut Truss Exhibit. Members will be in attendance all three days to answer questions.

New York Chapter
The New York Chapter Annual Rhododendron Show will be held on Sunday, May 24th, 1964, at Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, L. I., New York. This is a competitive show; trusses will be on exhibition from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. The New York Chapter cordially invites our members and friends from other states to visit the show and enjoy the magnificent rhododendrons and azaleas in Bloom at the Arboretum. There is no admission charge. Visiting members who attend our show will be able to purchase World's Fair tickets from our chapter at discount prices. Further information and directions will be sent to those who request it. After the Show a special dinner honoring Mr. Joseph Gable and Mr. Guy Nearing will be held at the Salisbury Club, East Meadow, Long Island, New York.

Olympia Chapter
The Show of the Olympia Chapter will be held May 16-17.

Portland Chapter
The annual Show of the Portland Chapter will be held May 9-10 at the Test Garden on the Island. There will be a dinner meeting for members and friends Saturday night, May 9. Tentative plans call for the dinner to be at 7:00 P.M. at the imperial Hotel.

Shelton Chapter
Shelton will hold its Show on May 16-17.

Tacoma Chapter
The annual Show of the Tacoma Chapter will be held in Point Defiance Park, Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17.

Vancouver, B.C., Chapter
A non-competitive Show, no admission charge, will be held on Friday, May 8, in the Oakridge Auditorium from 5:00 P.M. until 10:30 P.M. The auditorium is located at 41st Avenue and Canbie.
