'GiGi' , A. E.  A Dexter cross of unknown parentage. Named and introduced by Sidney Burns and exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Open funnel formed, 3¼" flowers in 6" ball truss of 18 florets. Color: Red 57C with darker red 60A spotting on all lobes. Plant spreading with dark green elliptic-shaped leaves. C.A. 1972. Late May.

'Meadowbrook' , A. E.  ('Mrs. C. S. Sargent' x 'Everestianum', pink form). Paul Vossberg. 2¼" frilled flowers in 5" conical truss of 22 florets. Bright pink 57 B-C, white blotch, green spots. Plant broad as tall. C. A. 1972. Late May.

'Parker's Pink' , A. E.  A Dexter cross of unknown parentage. Exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. 3½" flowers in 6" truss of 12 florets. Bright deep pink 63B, paler toward center, deep red blotch 60A. Plant broad as tall. (See A.R.S. Bulletin Vol. 25, No. 3, 1971 - Front cover and Cover article). C.A. 1972. Mid-late May.

'Roslyn' , A. E.  ('Purpureum' x 'Everestianum', lavender form). Paul Vossberg. Exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Flowers widely funnel-shaped, 2¼" diameter, 4" ball truss, 12 florets. Blue 82D, paler center 84D. Dark green foliage on com pact plant. C.A. 1972. Late May.

'Scintillation' , A. E.  A Dexter cross of unknown parentage. Exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. 2½" flowers in 6" trusses of 15 florets. Luminous pink 67D, center 69C, blotch 151A-152-D densely spotted on upper lobe. Plant broader than tall. (See A.R.S. Bulletin Vol. 24, No. 2, 1970 - Front cover and Cover article). C.A. 1972. Mid-late May.

'Wheatley' , A. E.  ('Westbury' x 'Meadowbrook'). Howard Phipps. Named and introduced by Paul Vossberg, exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. 3¼" frilled flowers in 6½" truss of 16 florets. Pink 57D shaded 61D, yellow-green blotch. (See A.R.S. Bulletin, Vol. 26, No. 2, 1972 - Front Cover and Cover article). C. A. 1972. Mid-late May.

'Windbeam' , A. E.  A 'Conestoga' seedling from Gable, grown and named by Guy Nearing, exhibited by Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Flower 1¼", 3" ball truss of 8 florets. Multiple trusses. Pale pink, 63D, paler throat. Semi-dwarf, excellent foliage, very floriferous C.A. 1972. Mid May.

Seattle Chapter
'Kim' , A. E.  ( R. cremastum x R. campylogynum ). Cross by James Caperci. Exhibited by Caperci, Seattle, Washington. Tubular-campanulate flowers, ¾" long, born in clusters of 3-5. Buff yellow. 11-C flushed 39B. Compact dwarf plant with neat broadly elliptic foliage. C. A. 1970. Late May.

'Mary Fleming' , A. E.  [( R. racemosum x R. keiskei ) x R. keiskei ]. Nearing, 1959. Exhibited by Walter Blyskal, Spring Valley, New York. Bisque yellow with blotches and streaks of salmon. C.A. 1972. Late April.

'Ananouri' ('Britannia' x R. discolor ). Produced and exhibited by Howard Phipps, Long Island, New York. Flowers 2¾ - 3" openly companulate in conical trusses of 15 florets. Bright red 46A-B speckled darker -red. Plant broader than tall. E. L. 1972. Late May.

'Shalom' (Name registration pending) ('Anna' x 'Antoon van Welie'). Cross by Halfdan Lem. Exhibited by Nathaniel Hess, Sands Point, Long Island, New York. Flowers 3½" openly funnel-shaped in a somewhat flat truss of 16 florets. White shaded rose 58D with Indian Lake 59B flare. Plant 31 feet tall by 6 feet wide in 18 years. E. L. 1972. Mid May.
