Flowers: 8cm, flat, wavy margin; conical truss of up to 15 flowers; white with few maroon spots on upper lobe; heavier than average texture; quality rating: 5. Plant habit - open; 1½ m x 1½ m in 15 years; Plant rating: 4. In bloom 2nd week May.

'Chetco' ('Hugh Wormald' x 'Marion Merriman') Hybridized and exhibited by H. J. Slonecker, Milwaukee, Oregon. Flowers: ball shaped truss of 10 to 12 flowers, flat faced, widely funnel shaped, closed tube; 3½" x 1¼", yellow group 13A, 24A upper lobe; heavier than average texture; quality rating: 4. Plant habit upright, open, height 4½' width 3' in 10 yrs. Quality rating foliage and habit: 3. In bloom 2nd week in May.

'Yachats' ('Hugh Wormald' x 'Marion Merriman') Hybridized and exhibited by H. J. Slonecker, Milwaukee, Oregon. Flowers: ball shaped truss of 11 to 12 flowers - widely funnel-shaped, closed tube, diameter 3½" x 1¼" RHS yellow group 1313, 23B to A upper lobe. Average texture; Quality rating: 4. Plant habit spreading, fairly compact; 6' x 6' in 18+yrs. Quality rating of foliage and habit: 3.
