ARS Welcomes New Cascade Chapter

At the May 13, 1992, meeting of the American Rhododendron Society National Board of Directors, the Cascade Chapter was approved as the Society's 67th chapter. The group, organized by Bob George, President, temporarily is meeting at the Main City Library in Bellevue, Washington, until the new Bellevue Botanical Gardens Visitors Center can be completed later this summer. At that time they will begin meeting at the Center on the first Tuesday of each month. Members will be drawn from the area east of Lake Washington (east of Seattle), north to Bothell and south to Renton. We congratulate them and welcome them to our growing family!
