The Clarenden Gardens, ten years in the making were opened to the public on October 26. This new garden contains thousands of blooming camellias, azaleas and other flowering shrubs that border a five acre lake. The month of November found thousands of chrysanthemums and sasanqua camellias in bloom. The azaleas will bloom in April and their lavish display of color will he a sight indeed. Members of the American Rhododendron Society are invited to visit this garden which is located a mile from Pinehurst, North Carolina on the Linden Road.
