Spectrum Volume 17 Issue 10 - October 27, 1994

Listed below are the software classes being offered through the Personnel Services Department. Please refer to the Personnel Services Workshops on the Gopher system for a description of each class.

For more information about any of the classes, contact Candy Mady or Anne Paskowski at 381-7126. If you are interested in attending any of these workshops, complete an Open Enrollment Workshop Nomination form and mail it to the New Dimensions Office, 404 Clay Street, 0348, or call 1-4181.

To obtain blank Open Enrollment Workshop Nomination forms, call 1-9331. Classes will be held at the NRCC Christiansburg site (former APCO building on Roanoke Street, across from Homer Cox Ford). There is a charge of $48.20 per class. Textbooks will be issued for each class. Students must supply their own 3 1/2 inch, high-density diskette.

Official registration through New River Community College is required and may be made by phone at 381-7126 or by fax at 381-7128. If minimum registration requirements are not met the day prior to the first class meeting, the class will be canceled and you will be notified by phone.

Paradox 4.0 for Windows,

Wednesdays, 2-5 p.m., 11/9-12/14.

Intermediate Word 2.0 for Windows,

Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m., 11/9-12/14.

Advanced WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows,

Thursdays, 2-5 p.m., 11/10-12/15.

Introduction to Microsoft Windows 3.1,

Fridays, 2-5 p.m., 11/11-12/16.

Beginning WordPerfect 6.0 for Windows,

Tuesdays, 2-5 p.m., 11/15-12/13.
