Permit Sales: Second-semester parking permits will go on sale beginning December 12 at the Visitor Information Center on Southgate Drive. The cost is $25.
Special Parking: The Owens and Dietrick parking lots are reserved 24 hours a day for the faculty and staff. Half of the Donaldson Brown parking lot, across the street from Squires and the DBHCC, is reserved 24 hours a day for visitors only; the other half is for faculty and staff parking weekdays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Parking Meters: Parking meters in the University Bookstore parking lot are enforced from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. All other parking meters are enforced weekdays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. The 10 parking meters nearest the War Memorial Gym are reserved for faculty, staff, and visitors parking.
Loading: A special permit for up to 30 minutes of loading or unloading a vehicle in most faculty/staff parking spaces is available from Parking Services. Call 1-3200.
Ticket Appeals: Ticket appeals for violations such as parking in yellow zones or handicap spaces or expired parking meters are not upheld unless there are very extenuating circumstances. If you are unhappy with the decision on your initial appeal, you may file a second written appeal with Parking Services. You must attach a copy of the initial appeal to the second appeal.
