Gray to coordinate programs
Spectrum Volume 17 Issue 18 - February 2, 1995
Linda "Lyn" Gray has been appointed coordinator of international exchange programs for the university.
A former executive director of the National Peace Corps Association, Gray has 10 years experience with the Peace Corps, having worked as country director in Niger, associate director for programming and training in Zaire, and a teacher in Liberia. She also has worked as director of International Student Activities and assistant director of the Center for Immigration Policy and Refugee Assistance, both at Georgetown University.
Gray will work with each of the colleges to coordinate and facilitate international exchanges.
Her goals are to provide one location where students can learn about all the study-abroad opportunities on campus, to increase the number of study-abroad options, to increase financial aid possibilities, to increase options for faculty members to obtain international experience, and to increase the number of students having an international experience. She also will serve as campus liaison for the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP).
