TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER FOR SERVING INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. Research Associate/Severe Disabilities Project Coordinator.
Coordination and delivery of individual and team consultations and training activities, dissemination of information and resources, and facilitation of collaboration between general, special-education and community-services personnel in 39 Southwest Virginia school divisions. Minimum requirement is master's degree in special education or related area and classroom teaching experience. Demonstrated skills and knowledge in severe/multiple disabilities, collaborative consultation, in-service delivery, grant development and implementation, written and verbal communication, assistive technology. Willingness to travel. Salary is $34,000-$37,000 (12-month position), commensurate with education and experience. Full state benefits apply, including nine semester hours of graduate course work per year. Position goes from Feb. 15, 1995 to June 30, 1995.
