Budget Update

Spectrum Volume 17 Issue 21 - February 23, 1995

A conference committee composed of the House and Senate have reported out a final budget figure on state spending late Tuesday night as Spectrum was going to press. The committee has recommended restoring $12.2 million to Virginia Cooperative Extension. The General Assembly is expected to approve the funding bill before it adjourns Saturday. Spectrum will have a full report next week on General Assembly action.
