ATHLETICS. Head Men's and Women's Diving Coach.

Organize and direct all aspects of the men's and women's Division I varsity diving program. Identify and recruit athletically and academically qualified student athletes. Promote the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program to include adhering to all athletic department policies and procedures, and following the rules and regulations of the university, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the NCAA. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the head swimming coach. Bachelor's degree required. Successful coaching experience in diving at the college or senior club level. Knowledge of NCAA rules. Application deadline is July 7, 1995. ATHLETICS. Assistant Women's Athletic Trainer.

The assistant trainer will report to the head trainer and be responsible for providing a comprehensive sports-medicine health-care program for varsity sports assigned by the head athletic trainer. ATHLETICS. Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Virginia Tech is seeking an individual for the position of assistant strength and conditioning coach. The primary responsibility of this position includes coaching female athletes. Candidates must have a master's degree in exercise science or related field, must have a minimum of two years experience in coaching strength and conditioning at the university level, NSCA certification preferred. ATHLETICS. Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach.

This is a 12-month, full-time position. Primary responsibilities will include recruiting, coaching, conditioning, monitoring student athlete's class attendance, aiding with seminars and camps and coordinating junior club program. Qualifications require a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferable, and experience playing or coaching on a collegiate level in a Division I program. ATHLETICS. Assistant Women's Track and Field Coach (two positions).

Will assist the head women's track and field coach with responsibilities associated with coaching women's track and field and cross-country student athletes. Position One: coaching responsibilities for this position will primarily focus on the jumping, hurdling, and sprinting events. Position Two: coaching responsibilities for this position will primarily focus on the throwing events. Other responsibilities for both positions include preparing and executing daily workout sessions of all athletes, evaluating student athlete academic and athletic progress, recruiting, organizing travel for away competition, completing meet entry information, preparing for home meets, assisting strength and conditioning staff with the development of weight workouts, and enforcing policies and procedures developed by the women's track and field coach as well as the Virginia Tech Athletic Department. Candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Previous intercollegiate coaching experience preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
