Graduate Student Feminist Research Forum scheduled
Spectrum Volume 18 Issue 04 - September 14, 1995
On October 27, 1995, the Women's Research Institute and the Women's Studies Program will sponsor a Graduate Student Feminist Research Forum to showcase the work of Virginia Tech graduate students. Faculty members are asked to encourage their graduate students who are engaged in or who are planning feminist research projects to submit a project summary to the forum review committee. Discussions about research at all stages of development are welcomed
. The forum will begin with a panel discussion of how feminist research methods are employed in various disciplines. After a lunch that will emphasize networking, a short presentation will be made about the funding outlook for research on women. Concurrent afternoon sessions will showcase research projects that emphasize feminist methods and perspectives.
For submission forms or more information about the forum, please contact the Women's Programs Office (1-7615; WPO@VT.EDU ) or the forum co-chairs: Elizabeth Creamer (231-6630; creamere@vtvm1.cc.vt.edu ) or Carol J. Burger (231-7615; wri@vt.edu ).
