Mehdi Adldoost, general manager of the Holiday Inn, Airport, in Roanoke, has been named hotel-operations manager for Virginia Tech's Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center.

Adldoost, who holds an MBA from James Madison University, has worked in all phases of hotel operations in Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida.
