Spectrum Volume 19 Issue 11 - November 7, 1996
The Virginia Water Resources Research Center and Lynchburg College are co-sponsoring a workshop focusing on the future of the James River on November 14 at Lynchburg College. The workshop, "Opportunity for Leadership: The James River in the 21st Century," includes presentations by William E. Cox, professor and assistant department head in civil engineering at Virginia Tech; Robert E. Roberts, executive director of the Environmental Council of the States; and Carl Hershner, chair of the Department of Resources Management and Policy at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science at the College of William and Mary.
The workshop will be from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in Hall Campus Center, Memorial Ballroom. Registration fee is $20. For more information, contact Judy Poff at 1-8030 or jupoff@vt.edu.
