The Hokie Bird is this week's Combined Virginia Campaign coach. In football, we'll play a tough Miami team. In charitable giving, they're hard to beat. Last year, 46 percent of their 7,406 employees raised $533,110. (That's right-more than half a million dollars.) Last year, 26.1 percent of Virginia Tech employees contributed $196,602. Find your pledge card and turn it in. We can come close if we all pitch in.
