Dear Editor,
Spectrum Volume 19 Issue 23 - March 13, 1997
My daughter, Suzy, and I were the honorary coaches for Saturday night's women's basketball game against La Salle. In the nine years I have worked at Tech in the Purchasing Department, I can say this was the most exciting experience I have had. Suzy and I got to meet the players and coaching staff in the locker room, sit on the bench during the game, and listen in on the pre-game and half-time strategies. The coaches and players treated us and each other with the greatest courtesy and respect that I have ever seen. We felt we had really been honored to have met these people and been able share a few hours of our life with them. They made a very good lasting impression on us. I would like to encourage everyone to fill in their application for the Honorary Coach Program next year.
