Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree and should have a distinguished, well-rounded record of scholarship, with recognized excellence in teaching. Also, candidates should have demonstrated leadership, intrapersonal, and communication skills. Prior administrative experience at the department level or higher, including academic program planning and budget preparation, would be an advantage. Candidates should have an understanding of curricular design and evaluation. They should be knowledgeable about innovations in medical educational and information technology and be committed to interdisciplinary, collaborative studies in the health sciences. The new associate dean will hold a professorial appointment in an appropriate discipline/department of the college. Salary and benefits are attractive and competitive.
