INSTRUCTIONAL
Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. Tenure-track Position in Dermatology. Duties and responsibilities: Instruction will include participation in didactic instruction in dermatology and related disciplines; clinical instruction in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital; and training of interns, residents, and graduate students. Service will include management of patients and consultation in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, participation in continuing-education programs of the college, and participation in faculty governance activities. Research will include both independent and collaborative creative activity in research missions of the college. Clinical efforts will include instruction and service activities in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Non-clinical efforts will include classroom teaching, research, continuing education, governance, and professional development. Qualifications include the DVM or equivalent degree and specialty training in veterinary dermatology. Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Dermatology is preferred. However, candidate eligible for certification examination will also be considered. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
