Administrative Information Systems (AIS)-User Services offers short courses to university faculty and staff members, graduate students, and undergraduates (at the request of a faculty member). There are no charges for any of the courses. Following is the AIS-User Services course schedule for the remainder of fall 1997.
Introduction to the Macintosh , Monday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.-noon, Information Systems Building (registration begins November 10); Introduction to Windows 95® , Tuesday and Thursday, Nov. 18 and 20, 9 a.m.-noon, Information Systems Building (registration begins November 10); Introduction to Microsoft Excel , Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1-3 p.m., Information Systems Building (registration begins November 10); Introduction to the Internet , Tuesday, Dec. 2, 9 a.m.-noon, 116 Robeson (registration begins Nov. 24); Introduction to Eudora , Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1-3 p.m., 116 Robeson (registration begins November 24); Introduction to SAS® , Tuesday and Thursday, Dec. 9 and 11, 1-4 p.m., Moss Research Building (registration begins December 1).
Registration is required and begins Monday at 8 a.m. of the week preceding the first day of a class. No more than one person may register at a time. Classes are taught in different buildings. Please make note of the location listed with each class. A course may be canceled if fewer than seven people are registered at noon on the Thursday before the course begins.
